Saturday The 3rd

Okay so it was kinda hard to be festive this year. I absolutely love the 4th but just kinda felt it was something we had to try and squeeze in. We did go to the West Point parade this year instead of Clearfield. Little hard to break tradition, but it was closer. We met Debbie and Larry and were just a little early, ok a lot early. My bad. So we sent Clint and Larry to go buy breakfast. It was also really cold, I never thought we would have to use a blanket in July. WEIRD.
Debbie and Sam. He loves his Bebbie. She is just like mom only cooler! Right Deb?

After Clint bought donuts, a golf cart came around giving out free ones. Go figure.

Getting ready, Sam was super excited!! This is the 2nd year Sam has been pegged in the head with candy too. Poor kid is gonna be traumatized...
Side note, before it started he had to pee. So he ran across the street to the tree farm and dropped his drawers. Kinda funny! After the parade we went to the park and walked around. Sam got to try out some of the military stuff. Him and his daddy were in heaven. Clint wanted to sit in the tanks just as bad as Sam did. BOYSHe got to go fishin. Which is always a good time!
His prize! Dont let this picture fool you, he was being a complete STINKER!!
Got his face painted. We wiped it off shortly after, he didnt dig it. Dont blame him, face painting is dumb!
We left the park early because Sam was being a little CRAZY. That boy needed a nap ASAP. Although I had to miss seeing my cousin and his family that were driving through from Texas, we thought we better leave if we were gonna salvage anymore of the day. We did get to eat some yummy lunch there and buy some super cute flowers for Kassidy, that pretty much are the size of her whole head. Oh well, soon enough she'll wear em.

At home saluting the flag. Clint is pretty proud that he knows to do this. So patriotic!
This picture of me a Sam is so funny, I said hold up a peace sign and showed him it was 2 fingers but he wouldnt do it, he thought 4 was cooler!
After all our naps, we decided to go to the movies. Sam has been dying to see Toy Story 3 so we went. He was so good, he loved it. It really is a cute show.
After the movie we did attempt to go to the Clearfield fireworks, but they only had food vendors at the park, LAME. So we got bored and went home. We watched West Points from our back yard instead. Oh well, maybe we will be more fun next year.
