Vegas Vacation part 2

Sam and I decided that we were gonna go visit Clint! So we set off early early one morning and drove straight through. We stopped once in Beaver to get gas and that was it. Sam slept the entire way!! Lucky me. I was nervous to drive that far alone but I did it! I was jammin out to "my" music the whole way!

So we are living in a hotel for 2 weeks! I am getting use to room service that is for sure!! Clint works 4 days a week, so it hasnt been that bad. Sam and I hang out at the pool and do a little shopping. We watch movies and I have started a new addiction! I love the twilight series! I read the 1st 2 books in like 3 days. They are incredible, Clint thinks I am a nerd, but I cant wait to get home and go to the book release party at Barnes and Noble for the 4th one!

We have had many adventures here, we took Sam to FAO Schwartz (a toy store), The adventure dome @ circus circus, the shark reef, the childrens museum and the park in St. George. His favorite is the pool! We spend hours in it, he is so ready for swimming lessons. He knows to plug his nose and blow bubbles and to kick his feet when he is on his belly. He even puts his arms up like he is diving when he jumps in to us. So I cant wait to sign him up!

At FAO Schwartz, We thought we would never get him off that piano. It is like the one in the movie Big.....Sam even drew a crowd, he would run and slide on it. It was quite the little show!

Clint of course had to be Clint....He made Sam jump so high, he came behind him while I was holding him and touched his leg. He didnt cry, I think Sam and I are just use to Clint's little quirks

They had tunnels you walk through, like the ones on Jaws, not as big though....Sam was really nervous about them and hated when the sharks swam over us. I think because you could see their teeth really good.

Childrens museums are the coolest! He ran from one thing to the next. Clint and I had lots of fun too!

Sam and water....I know the water is gross, it was brown, but he loved it! Clint liked it too! They were making dams and waterfalls.

My little Sammy loves water! Anywhere he can find it, he is in it! Lately he has been found splashing in the toliet. Gross, I know.....

Fourth of July

Happy Independence Day! The 4th of July is my favorite holiday, I love everything about it! I am excited Sam is getting older and we can start more family traditions...I am thankful for our freedom and for Clint serving his country and protecting us! We went to breakfast with our ward Friday morning. It was really yummy, but awfully early after getting home so late from seeing Poison!

Sam loved the parade! He thought it was great people were throwing candy to him. Clint taught him how to whistle and so they were whistling at the princesses. Well one gal turned and waved right at Sam, he blushed and hid his face in his dads legs. It was so cute, he is charmin the ladies already!!
After the parade we went home and had a water fight and had a chocolate fountain. Sam was a little scared of the water balloons because he thought people were hurting each other. He was fine as long as he got to hold one.Chocolate.......what a fun dinner huh?

These deer came into the back yard and hung out as we were starting fireworks. They were not scared of us at all. It was amazing just to watch them.

We didnt go to fireworks this year because we wanted to see how Sam would do. Good thing! He didnt like the loud ones at all!!! He played with the flashlight and had to be held tight during the other ones just to feel safe. Then he ended up falling asleep during them. What a fun day he had! Tuckered him right out!

Poison

Debbie and I went to the Poison Concert on Thursday night! We love Bret Michaels!! We have had tickets for about 4 months, so we couldnt wait for this night!
Bret Michaels best side! haha Secretly I am a rock-n-roller. I dont think he is too cute in the face (too much eyeliner and plastic surgery) but he just oozes sexy in those jeans!
We had really good seats! We had fun rockin out! Debbie is my concert buddy, all the concerts I have been to have been with her! My favorite songs were Talk Dirty To Me and Fallen Angel

Vegas Vacation!!

So I left my Sammy for the first time to visit Clint in Las Vegas last weekend! I flew all by myself for the first time. I was so nervous to do that but didnt get lost or confused at all. I even had to take a shuttle from the airport to the hotel because Clint was at work and I didnt get kidnapped. We had lots of fun! It was just like being newlyweds all over again! Thanks Clint for showing me around "your town"
Our day of walking the strip! I love to shop at Ceasars Palace! They have a big MAC make-up store there and I love their stuff so I stocked up because you can only get it at Nordstroms here. Clint was a trooper and went to all my favorite stores....
Our romantic night out can't ya tell?? We won tickets to the Lance Burton magic show and Dinner at Monte Carlo. The show was incredible!!!! I was so amazed, it was fun!
These fish we so amazing! They were in the aquarium at Ceasars Palace. We did go to the Shark exhibit at Mandalay bay, but I forgot my camera so we bought a disposable one there. So I can not post those pictures. That exhibit was way cool though. Reminded me of Jaws when they walk through that tunnel. I had to pre-warn Clint before we went in that he was not to touch the back of my arm or legs to try and freak me out!!

Pete Rose was signing autographs at a sports store. We were gonna get one because there was only 2 people in line, but you had to purchase something at the store for him to sign. The cheapest thing was a baseball for $99. So we took a quick picture and called it good!

We spent one day being lazy. We slept in and took naps and hung out at the hotel pool. It was so nice to not have a care in the world for just one day!

My last night there we decided to go to a steak and seafood place in the hotel. I wanted oysters and so I ordered them on the half shell. I failed to read that that meant they were raw. I had six large raw oysters come out and I just couldnt do it. Clint took one for the team and choked one down. He hates sea food and is a bit allergic to it. I then had to do it, they were too big to just slurp down so you had to chew it. YUCK!!! I had to puke it up into my napkin. I am classy 100% Kinda funny

Changes

So quite a lot has happened to us in the last couple weeks. Clint is working in Vegas 4 days a week and comes home on the weekends. Our lease was up in our apartment, so we moved into Clint's parents house. Sam and I have been having lots of fun here!! I went to Vegas last weekend to join Clint and Sam stayed here. It was a great weekend vacation, although I missed Sam every minute. Just a couple tears were shed...by me. We have not figured out exactly what we are gonna do yet, we are kinda just waiting. So until then, we are just enjoying spending time with nana & papa and the Browns!!
