Today we picked out Kameron's headstone......It was hard.......
It feels so final, I know we will see him again, but it still hurts.

The Blessing

Sunday we blessed our sweet little angel! It was kind of a spur of the moment thing because my grandma was able to come down from Washington and we really wanted her here for Kassidy's special day. It was such a wonderful day full of family, love and blessings. My chubby little girl. I love all the rolls she is getting, so squishy!! I was so excited getting her ready to wear the 1st of 3 white dresses. I loved all the accessories. Tights, hairbow (which my sister bought, isnt it perfect) and notice the bling around her neck? Her daddy bought her her first diamond. (I got this idea from of course Alexis)
Our great friend from Morgan Jewelers had it sized so she can wear it for her blessing, baptisim and wedding. I love it! My Grandma Kunz. I love this lady with all my heart. She is wonderful and made our day so much more special by being there.

Thanks to everyone that came and shared in Kassidy's special day. It was wonderful to just all be together with our sweet miracle. This was a day we had prayed about for a long time and cant believe it has already come and gone. My heart was full that day but part of it longed for my little Kameron. I coundnt help but wish he was getting his blessing too, instead he was the one blessing us. He was there all around us. I love my 3 beautiful children........

Lil Miss Kassidy

Quick little update on my Lil' Miss....Kassidy has been completely off oxygen day and night for the past 4 days. We still keep her hooked to her monitor at night, but she only desats when she wiggles her feet or gets ready to cry. I really thought this day would never come! It is so nice to have her wireless. Easier to tote her around with me through the house. Plus she really likes momma to just snuggle her. As of her Dr appt 1 week ago she weighed 7 lbs 11 oz, but I think she is now closer to 8. She has been gaining about 1 oz a day, like she was told to, and can just be seen every 4 weeks now. That is so nice......
She is developing so well, she is starting to react more to toys, voices and lights. She is also more smiley. Especially when you kiss her double chin...She has found a new love for her swing, which is sooooo nice. Except Sam thinks he needs to give her extra pushes to get her to go fast. Such a typical boy.
We are getting into a routine now and she even has been sleeping 6 hours for me at night. Good Girl!! She likes momma to put her to bed, I guess daddy doesnt do it the same. :)
She is such a miracle and we love having her home. We cant imagine life without her. I love kissing her face all day long and just soaking up every single moment with her. I am totally in love.....

Show and Tell

I have been so excited with Sams new school. He has learned so much already, I really am amazed, it is like he blossomed this year! I am loving everything he brings home, he is a getting good at coloring and wrighting his letters. I LOVE IT!!!

Anyways, this school does show and tells and so his first show and tell was for the letter "A". So Sam took his dad's Alligator head. (They learned about alligators that day too.....Perfect right?)

Side note....I hate this thing, I was kinda hoping he would break it!! No such luck though. haha

Back to School

It is that time of year again. Sam started his second year of preschool, but this time at a new school. He was so excited to start! He had checked out of his old school long before....haha

This school is preschool only no daycare. (He says its a big boy school!!)

So he goes for 2 1/2 hours 3 days a week. Since I am home now with Kassidy, I thought this would be a better fit for him. Added bonus Clints Aunt Sharon owns it and his cousin Michelle is Sam's teacher!! Also my brothers little boy Luke is in his class. Can you say T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!

Love that little face!! His super cool new backpack. I love that it is as big as he is! I did get him a super hero notebook and crayons to put in it so it wasnt empty. He loves it and wore it around all morning!On our way out the doorOne quick one with the little sis. Can you just hear him saying CHEESE MOM!!Hanging up his backpack.Puzzles!!! His favoriteHis way cute teacher Miss Michelle. After this he says to me "I get to be by myself now?" I said yes, I cant stay, we have to go. He tells me "oh good"......little stink cracks me up.

After Kassidy and I picked him up we met Clint for some ice cream! He had such a wonderful day and couldnt stop talking about how much fun he had!

Lastly.....

Kassidy has been home for 2 1/2 weeks now. Cant even believe it. I am so in love with this little girl. I love kissin those lips and chubby cheeks!! Yeah it is safe to say we make out all day!! Cant resist!!
She is thriving and making great advances everyday! She weighs 7 lbs even and is 18 1/2 in long. She has been gaining an oz a day just like the Dr told her too! She is still on oxygen, but we are weening her off little by little. She really loves having the cannula off. So we try to do that as much as possible.
Her 2nd follow up eye exam was perfect and the Dr said in all his 15 yrs he has never seen a baby as early as she was recover as fast as she did. She is well known now at the Moran Eye Center for being a miracle.
Her pediatrician has been really great too! Sam went to him too! He has been seeing her ev 3 days and then weekly and now she has graduated to ev 2 weeks. He asks her at each visit if she even knows she is a preemie because she sure doesnt act like one. He continues to be amazed at her progress. Makes me proud.
She is still really susceptible to infections so we do not let people hold her or touch her still. And if you are sick, just plan on staying away!
She is down to 24 calories and still takin her multivitamin and thats all. She had lab work done Monday which came back perfect. (Sam went with me and he rubbed her hand and said its ok, im here...aahhh so cute)
Kassidy is impressing us all, She loves to eat and is up to about 3 oz ev 3-4 hrs. Not sleeping through the night and really really loves momma to hold her. I wouldnt have it any other way though!!!
