Trick Or Treat

Last night we had a small little party at our house. Debbie and my parents came over for chili, cornbread and graveyard dirt. Debbie brought the witches brew and grandma brought the pumpkin cake. Then Debbie and I took Sam trick or treating, yes in the rain. Good times! Everyone else stayed and handed out candy and watched football and baseball. LAME
Earlier that day, while Clint had to work....:( We ate breakfast with nana and papa Pugmire and Debbie and then went to visit Coop, Luke and Champ. They were adorable in their costumes!! (I need to steal pictures from you Debbie) I Love those cute boys....
We had such a fun day! Already cant wait for next year!Treats from Debbie and Nana Pugmire. Dont ya love the boxes Debbie made and that she got Kassidy formula?! haha

Sam and Clint. Clint scared my mom really good with that mask, it was hilarious! Because Sam and I are now use to it!

Really we did not go to very many houses, he just scored lots of loot!

Oh my littles in their matching jammies...

Kassidy was smiling and laughing all night, she was so cute! She loves a good party I guess!

He really does love her, sometimes a little too much and it freaks her out, but he has good intentions!

The next ones are of Kassidy trying so hard to stay awake. She just didnt want the party to end!

Happy Halloween ya'll

My Littles

For Halloween Sam wanted to be Dracula and he wanted Kassidy to be a bat. Cute right?!
He didnt want make-up, but I talked him into it. After putting it on twice though, we bagged doing it again on Saturday for trick or treating. We had our ward trunk or treat last weekend, but I failed to get any pictures...BOO. Clint reprised the role of frankenstein and I was a witch. Just mental picture it.....haha
Then Sam got to dress up for his school party too, he loved that. He told me "Mom, mine was the coolest!"He is in total character. Little ham....Here is Sammys little bat. Cutest dang bat around huh?! We girled it up with a flower....

Look at those eyes and those lashes. So gorgeous!

Carmel Apples and Potato Head Pumpkins

Last weekend we tried our hand at making carmel apples....So fun and so yummy!! Think we will do that every year!Sam loved dipping them.....Finished product, they were fantastic!! Then we decided to put our potato head pieces into our pumpkins! What else would we do when we have such a potato head lover in this house?!

The Pirate!

The Skeleton!

So much easier than carving!!

Kameron's Headstone

Friday Oct 22nd after dropping Sam off at school, I had an intense feeling to go visit Kameron's spot. So Kassidy and I stopped there on our way home to find his headstone had just been put in. The mortuary had told us they just do it and they dont call and tell us, they told us to just check ourselves. Well it had only been a few weeks since we paid for it and thought it would be November before it would be in......
Kameron wanted us to know it was there and it looked beautiful! It was an incredible feeling that my little angel was guiding me to his spot.
We waited for Clint to come home and we headed back out to put flowers in his new vase...

Couple of Kass in her cute beanie.

Sam and Kassidy visiting their brother's spot. This was Kassidys first visit!

It turned out amazing. Simple, but beautiful....
Thank you to the entire Layton family for your donations to his headstone! We love you all!!

These are a few of my favorite things

This little freckle faced boy....
Watching Sam run into his classroom with his back pack that is as big as him, and he looks back and waves and says "bye mom!!"
This bright eyed little girl.....

Her smiles and her little dimple...

Holding hands.....

When daddy is home!

When she is wide awake and still loves to just snuggle!

Punkin Patch

We ventured out to Black Island farms one Friday to get our pumpkins! Sam has been so excited to do this, and yeah me too! We did not do all the fun slides and maze stuff this year, just stuck to the hayride. We got there right at 4 and got on the first ride out to the pumpkins. It was a beautiful day, perfect for pumpkin picking!! Cant you just see the excitement in his face?
Lookin for the perfect one.....Found one!!Daddy found one too! Love these boys!!
I love you my little honey! You make me laugh everyday!!

Proof that Kassidy was there too! She slept the whole ride, so we just kept her snuggled up.
