Laundry

Clint had so much stuff to unpack! He had a suitcase, a carry on and these two big cases he mailed home. So I have been doing laundry like crazy!!! He had lots of sand in his boots and clothes, imagine that. Sam had fun helping Clint unpack all his stuff.
He brought Sam home a cool back pack that says Operation Iraqi Freedom on the straps. He loves it and thinks he is big! He brought me back a really pretty silver necklace and 3 beaded bracelets.
We are headed to Park City tomorrow with Bryan and Steph. We are excited to take the kids to the alpine slide!! We'll be home Sunday, just a short little vacation. I should have some fun pictures though!!

Dinosaur Park II

We went to the dinosaur park yesterday. Clint wanted to see Sam growl at the dinosaurs. They both were growling through the whole park! We ran into my friend Stacy there and it was nice to be able to sit under the tree and have Clint chase Sam on the playground. Sam loves having someone his own age to play with!!! haha
It has been so fun having Clint home, he is a great dad!
I love being able to kiss him when ever I want!!!!!

Welcome Home Daddy!!!

Clint came home at 1:00 am Saturday morning. My family and his stayed up late to welcome him home! It was such a big group that came home, it was very exciting. We waited such a long time for this moment and it was just as great as I expected. I got to run to him as soon as I saw him walk off the plane, Sam was a little aprehensive. He wasn't quite sure about things, Daddy to him was suppose to just be on the computer. Sam has warmed up fast although he likes to have mom in his sight. We love having daddy home!!!
We'll post more pictures of his homecoming soon! Thanks Debbie for being our photographer!

Sam and dad watchin a movie.
Side note......Clint has changed every diaper since he has been home! haha

Big Boy Bed

I woke up this morning to such a surprise! It was about 7:00am and I could hear Sam in his room talking (I lay there for a minute and try to wake up) but I jumped up when I heard I thud! I opened his door and saw him just sittin on the floor, playin with his toys. I saw that he had pushed his blankets and his pillow up into the corner and climbed out! He didn't hurt himself, but it scared me. I am scared he will tip over the crib or fall out wrong and break an arm. So we are sleepin in the living room tonight on a "campout" When Clint gets home he can fix his crib into a big boy bed! Where does the time go?

Dinosaur's say rrroar

Sam and I went to the Dinosaur park today!!!!
We went with my friends Stacy, Steph, their kiddos, their mom and their brother Nate.
I was a little nervous to see how Sam would react to the dinosaur's. I thought he would be scared, but he was just the opposite! He loved the animated ones....he was saying hi to them and rrroaring at 'em. His face was priceless!!!!
I got him a little plastic dinosaur (that he thinks is the greatest thing ever) he was still clutching on to it as he crashed on the way home! We had a great time, thanks for inviting us Stacy!

daddy, husband, son, brother, friend......HERO

I just wanted to do a little blog
about one of the greatest men that have ever come into my life!
It is getting closer for our family reunion, which is exciting, but makes me nervous too.
I just wanted Clint to know that I love him with all my heart and soul. He truely is my better half. It has been hard not waking up to see his face every morning, or rub my feet on him before I fall asleep. I miss his hands, I miss his freckles (even though he hates them) I love each one of 'em. I miss making family dinner and talking about our days. I miss watching him play with Sam. I miss him playing with my hair when we would lay in bed (real men do do this) I just miss everything about you. You and Sam make up my perfect little world. I am a better person because I have you to love me. I am so proud of you Clint and all that you do for our family and for America! You are a strong man, caring and brave. Sammy is so lucky to have such a great daddy to look up to. Thank you for loving me, thank you for keeping me together!!!

The small things, that mean so much

I have a little OCD about organizing things and I have been stressing about where to put Sam's shoes. We found this shoe rack on clearance at Target. I was so excited!! I could not wait to get home and put his shoes in it. It's the small things that just can make me so happy.

Just Call Me Betty Crocker

This is the tractor cake I made my dad. Took me 3 hours and lots of patience! This is the second cake I have made (1st one was Sam's pirate cake) I love it, I wish I could plan a party every month!!
Sam loved the cake too! For some reason Sam has a thing about hats. He loves to wear my dads dirty ol work hat. Every time we go over there he needs to put it on. He will seriously keep it on all night. Now the hat has pizza and icing fingerprints all over it! Sorry papa!

Surprise!!!

We had a surprise party for my dad on the 3rd, because he turned the big 60! He was completely surprised, even though we thought he was on to us. He wasn't quite sure if he was in the right back yard!
He had his sisters and my grandma come from Washington and some family friends from Montana come too!! in total there was about 50 people there! We loved seeing everyone and seeing the look on his face! PRICELESS!!
Still trying to figure things out! What a great surprise!

Cooper and dad opening presents. We had such a great party! Dad you are the best, we love you so much!!! Happy 60th birthday!!!!

My Big Helper!

Sam loves to stand on the stool and help me put the clothes in the dryer. He also likes to help do dishes, sweep and dust. Notice in the bottom picture, he is wearing my shoes! I guess I rub off on him just a little. He needs his dad for some male bonding!!

Just Like Dad

By this time he was done having his picture taken. Even when he is a stinker, he still has the cutest little face. I just love squishing that boy everyday!

Little Cowboy

Since Clint loves the Cowboys, I decided to have Sam's pictures taken in a Tony Romo jersey to send to Clint for his birthday. He is such a big boy, his big brown eyes just melt my heart!
